Avoid April Bill Hikes with Apple iPhone 17 Deal Locked for a Year Millions of British consumers are set to face higher mobile phone and broadband bills starting in April as providers implement annual price increases. These hikes will affect home broadband and mobile contracts, leading to increased monthly costs for the same services. However, those currently out of contract with their providers can avoid the rise by switching to a new network offering fixed pricing for 12 months. One such provider, iD Mobile, is promoting Apple’s iPhone 17 with a locked-in monthly rate of £29.99, which remains unchanged until April 2027 when it will increase to £31.79. The iPhone 17 deal through Currys-backed site Mobiles.co.uk includes a 200GB data allowance for the price of 100GB, with an upfront cost of £129. Customers can secure a 24-month contract with the price locked until 2027. This flexibility allows users to avoid further bill increases compared to longer-term contracts from providers like Sky and giffgaff, which run for 36 months. While Sky Mobile’s iPhone 17 deal with unlimited data costs £44 per month and £12 upfront, giffgaff’s option is priced at £38.17 per month with a £40 upfront fee. Apple’s iPhone 17, released in September, has received positive reviews from tech experts. David Snelling, Technology Editor at the Daily Express, praised the device as “almost impossible not to recommend,” highlighting its improved ProMotion screen, dual-lens rear camera with a 48MP Dual Fusion system, and enhanced performance from the A19 chip. He noted the phone’s longer battery life and upgraded cameras as key upgrades for general users. However, he also pointed out some drawbacks, such as the iPhone 17 being available in only one size, requiring customers to opt for the iPhone Air or Pro Max for larger screens.#apple #id_mobile #currys #mobiles_co_uk #david_snelling
