Mother and Daughter Found Dead in Locked Nagpur Home Decomposed bodies of a mother and daughter were discovered inside their locked residence in Nagpur’s Gadge Nagar area. The deceased were identified as Tulsabai Madhavrao Vadhai (65) and her daughter Sangita Vadhai (48). Police suspect the deaths may have been caused by an overdose of sleeping pills, though the exact cause remains under investigation. Sangita Vadhai, described as mentally challenged, was last known to have spoken to her mother’s son, who is employed in Bharuch, Gujarat. According to police, the son had contacted his mother on May 2, during which she requested a cooler due to rising temperatures. There was no further communication between the family and the son after that day. On Tuesday evening, when repeated calls to the residence went unanswered, the son instructed a relative to check on the family. The relative, upon arriving at the scene, detected an unusual smell and observed signs of disturbance through the window. Promptly alerting neighbors and the police, the relative facilitated the arrival of a team from the Nandanvan police station. The police team forced open the locked door and discovered both bodies in a decomposed condition. Preliminary examination by investigators suggested that the two may have ingested sleeping pills, though the exact method and circumstances remain under scrutiny. Police believe the deaths occurred around May 2, though no suicide note was found at the scene. Neither body showed visible external injuries, leaving the cause of death unclear. Authorities are currently probing the source of the medication used in the suspected overdose and are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.#nagpur #tulsabai_madhavrao_vadhai #sangita_vadhai #gadge_nagar #nandanvan_police_station
