New Art Gallery Launches in Nagpur with 'Rangmegh' Exhibition Nagpur’s newest dedicated art and exhibition space, the Kavi Suresh Bhat Convention Centre Art Gallery and Exhibition Centre, will officially open on July 25 with the inauguration of the 'Rangmegh' exhibition. The event, spanning six days, will showcase works by 16 local and regional artists, marking the debut of the gallery within the Kavi Suresh Bhat Auditorium on Great Nag Road. Mayor Nita Thakre and Municipal Commissioner Vipin Itankar will jointly inaugurate the facility at 11 am, with the exhibition accessible to visitors from July 25 to 30, operating between 4 pm and 8 pm daily. The 12,500 square foot gallery, located on the ground floor of the auditorium, is designed as a multipurpose venue for cultural, educational, corporate, social, and commercial events. It features four fully air-conditioned halls equipped with a folding partition system, allowing the space to be divided or combined to create an 8,000 square foot pillar-free event area. This adaptable layout accommodates conferences, exhibitions, seminars, workshops, business meetings, training programs, and cultural events. Additional amenities include acoustic panels, carpet flooring, decorative lighting, and modern light effects to enhance the visitor experience. Beyond its event hosting capabilities, the complex includes a 7,000 square foot open space suitable for temporary structures like domes and pavilions, ideal for trade fairs, food festivals, and cultural gatherings. A 4,500 square foot fine-dining restaurant is also planned adjacent to the convention center, aiming to position the site as an integrated destination for events, art, and hospitality.#nagpur #rangmegh_exhibition #shirish_mulmule #nita_thakre
