Thomaston-Upson Schools is also closed for the day, while Rome City Schools has implemented an independent learning day. Putnam County Charter School System and Meriwether County School System are operating on remote learning days. Oconee County Schools have declared a student holiday, and Greene County School System is transitioning to a virtual learning day. Dalton Public Schools is running a virtual day for students with a 1-hour delay for staff, while Clayton County Public Schools is on an independent learning day with a 2-hour staff delay. Atlanta Public Schools is also moving to a remote learning day. Other districts are implementing delayed start times to accommodate the weather conditions.
