Employees noticed smoke emerging from the ducting around 6:38 pm and immediately used fire extinguishers to suppress the flames, preventing the fire from spreading. Shamkule praised their timely response, stating it averted a serious incident. The restaurant, which has a seating capacity of approximately 80, had staff present during the incident. No injuries were reported. The fire caused damage to the ducting system, wiring, and some stored vegetables and raw materials. The estimated loss is around Rs70,000.
