DSP steps down from Ustaad Bhagat Singh's background score; Thaman comes on board The makers of Ustaad Bhagat Singh have officially clarified the recent speculation surrounding a change in the film’s music team. While Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) was initially signed to compose both the songs and the background score, he will now only be associated with the film’s soundtrack album. According to a statement issued by Mythri Movie Makers, the change comes down to scheduling constraints. The production reportedly faced delays in finalising and sending the film reels required for composing the background score. As a result, the timeline could not align with DSP’s prior commitments, making it difficult for him to complete the background work despite efforts from both sides. However, DSP’s contribution to the film remains intact through the already released tracks ‘Dekhlenge Saala’ and ‘Aura of Ustaad’, both of which have generated significant traction among fans.
