Sibal stated that the couple had resolved all their disputes through mediation and had filed a joint application under Article 142 to dissolve their marriage. He emphasized that both parties had embraced freedom and that all legal matters between them would be withdrawn. The court acknowledged the settlement and indicated it would proceed with the case based on the terms agreed upon by the parties. Justice Narasimha noted that the Supreme Court would issue orders in line with the settlement. Sibal also informed the court that both sides had agreed to withdraw all pending cases against each other, a move that Justice Narasimha confirmed would be recorded in the court’s order.
