PM Kisan Scheme: 24th Installment Clarifications and Required Steps The Indian government has clarified that there are no plans to increase the annual financial assistance under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme beyond the current Rs 6,000. This amount is disbursed in three installments of Rs 2,000 every four months. As of July 2026, the 23rd installment had already been released, and the 24th installment is expected to be disbursed between September and November 2026. However, an official release date has not been announced yet. Farmers who are eligible for the scheme must ensure their details are correctly verified to receive the 24th installment. Central Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan emphasized that farmers must complete three critical steps to avoid delays in receiving the funds. These steps include: Completing the e-KYC (Know Your Customer) process, which is mandatory for all beneficiaries. Farmers can complete this online via OTP or visit a nearby CSC center. Linking their Aadhaar card with their bank account and ensuring that the direct benefit transfer (DBT) option is activated. Updating their land records on the PM Kisan portal to ensure accuracy. Any discrepancies in these records may result in the disbursement being delayed or withheld. Farmers are advised to verify their details before the 24th installment is released. The government has stated that the funds will be directly transferred to the accounts of eligible farmers who meet all the criteria. To check the status of their application, farmers can visit the official PM Kisan website. They need to enter their registration number or Aadhaar number and confirm that all details—such as e-KYC and land records—are marked as "YES." This ensures that the funds are safely credited to their accounts.#shivraj_singh_chouhan #aadhaar_card #direct_benefit_transfer #pm_kisan_scheme #pm_kisan_portal
