SACHIS Launches Initiative to Enhance Healthcare Quality Under Yogi Government's Ayushman Bharat Scheme The Yogi administration in Uttar Pradesh has intensified its efforts to modernize and standardize healthcare services across the state, with a focus on transparency, technology, and quality. Central to this initiative is the State Ayushman Bharat Coordination and Implementation Society (SACHIS), which has launched a comprehensive quality improvement campaign under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY). The campaign aims to ensure beneficiaries of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana receive safer, more reliable, and dignified medical care through a network of accredited hospitals. SACHIS CEO Archana Verma highlighted that 800 hospitals across the state, accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH), have undergone specialized training aligned with the standards of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. The training, conducted by the State Institute of Health and Family Welfare in Lucknow, focused on familiarizing hospital staff with digital health protocols, resolving technical challenges, and addressing complaints to enhance operational efficiency. Verma emphasized that the initiative seeks to maintain rigorous quality benchmarks, ensuring that all participating hospitals adhere to safety and service standards. The government has also introduced financial incentives for NABH-accredited hospitals to sustain quality care. SACHIS is actively encouraging hospitals to comply with these benchmarks, ensuring that patients receive standardized, dignified treatment.
