Delhi Police Arrests Duo Over Supreme Court Courtroom Ruckus The Delhi Police has arrested Prabhat Singh and his accomplice Chandrabhan for causing a disturbance in the Supreme Court courtroom. Prabhat Singh, a 24-year-old law student from Uttar Pradesh’s Itawa, was allegedly attempting to issue orders to the judges during the hearing. His companion, Chandrabhan, a 23-year-old from Rae Bareli district, was also present. The FIR states that Singh used offensive and unsanctioned language during the proceedings, disrupted the court’s operations, and physically resisted security personnel when restrained. According to the police, Singh had approached the Supreme Court to challenge a High Court order related to a case in Lucknow. His petition, which sought the registration of an FIR in a local matter, was dismissed by the Supreme Court, which refused to intervene in the High Court’s decision. During the hearing, Singh allegedly hurled documents into the courtroom and engaged in a physical altercation with a security officer, causing disruption to the proceedings. The police conducted medical tests at the IHBAS (Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences) to assess the accused for any immediate mental health issues.
