This time, Rai’s campaign focused on key issues such as ending the sequencing system in the Supreme Court, addressing concerns of legal professionals, and proposing benefits for SCBA members. Rai’s campaign promises included providing medical insurance coverage of up to 50 lakh rupees for SCBA members and introducing merit-based scholarships for their children. The election saw a voter turnout of approximately 82%, with nearly 2,794 members casting their votes. Other candidates in the race included Senior Advocate Adish Agrawal (412 votes), Gaurav Bhartiya (370 votes), Sukumar Patta Joshi (269 votes), Siddharth Mudul (217 votes), and Mahalakshmi Pavani (128 votes). Rai’s victory underscores the support he garnered among legal professionals for his advocacy on systemic reforms and member welfare.
