Nagpur Celebrates Eid Milad-un-Nabi with Message of Peace and Harmony The Muslim community in Nagpur gathered on Wednesday to commemorate Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), with a vibrant procession that underscored themes of religious devotion and communal unity. The event, organized by the Markazi Seerat-un-Nabi Committee, drew participation from children, youths, and elders who marched through the city’s central areas, including Gandhibagh Fawara Chowk, Central Avenue, and Mominpura. Participants adorned themselves in traditional attire, with many wearing white clothing, turbans, and Islamic brooches, reflecting the cultural and spiritual significance of the occasion. A notable highlight of the celebrations was the gesture of solidarity extended by the historic Shri Poddarreshwar Ram Temple Trust. The temple authorities welcomed the Juloos-e-Mohammadi procession on Central Avenue by showering rose petals on the participants, a symbolic act of unity that emphasized the city’s tradition of communal harmony.
