Dhurandhar 2's Advance Booking Sees Rs 8 Crore Ticket Sales In 24 Hours The highly anticipated sequel Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, has generated massive interest with advance ticket sales surpassing Rs 8 crore within 24 hours of its trailer release. The film, produced by Jio Studios, opened advanced booking slots just 11 days before its scheduled release, and fans responded swiftly, with ticket sales skyrocketing across global markets. According to trade website Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 4 crore in ticket sales within two hours of the trailer’s debut on social media. Of this, Rs 2.5 crore came from major multiplex chains like PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis, with over 35,000 tickets sold. A new premium category, Super Blockbuster Plus, was introduced, with preview ticket prices reaching up to Rs 2,500 in Delhi-NCR theaters. By the end of the first 24 hours, the total advanced booking revenue had climbed to Rs 8.06 crore. The Hindi version of the film accounted for more than Rs 7 crore of the total, while the Telugu version contributed over Rs 5 lakh. Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions brought in Rs 4 lakh, Rs 27,000, and Rs 28,000 respectively. Notably, Tamil Nadu recorded the highest occupancy rate at 22%, indicating strong regional demand. The trailer, which teased intense action and character development, sparked widespread excitement among fans. Highlights included Yalina picking up a gun in a moment of anger and hints that Hamza might become the new "badshah" of Lyari.
