Indian Premier League fans in Bengaluru: Traffic and parking guidelines for matches at Chinnaswamy Stadium The police have issued detailed traffic and parking arrangements for the 19th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches scheduled at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on March 28 and April 5. The measures aim to manage vehicular movement and ensure smooth access for spectators. Parking restrictions have been imposed on several roads surrounding the stadium. These include both sides of Queens Road from Balekundri Circle to Queens Circle and up to CTO Junction, as well as M.G. Road between Anil Kumble Circle and Queens Circle. Restrictions also apply to Link Road, Raj Bhavan Road, T. Chowdaiah Road, Race Course Road, Central Street, Cubbon Road, St. Mark’s Road, Museum Road, Kasturba Road, and Vittal Mallya Road. Inside Cubbon Park, parking is prohibited near the Press Club, Bal Bhavan, and Fountain Road. Spectators are advised to use designated parking areas, including grounds at St. Joseph’s Indian High School and St. Joseph’s European School, Freedom Park multi-level parking, Garuda Mall, Shivajinagar Bus Stand (first floor), and UB City Mall. Entry to the stadium will be through specific gates on Cubbon Road: E-1 to E-3 and E-18 to E-23. Gates E-11 to E-17 on Link Road can be accessed via Anil Kumble Circle and B.R.V. Circle. Entry points on Queens Road include Gates E-05 and E-08, while exits are restricted to Gates E-09 and E-9A. Gate E-10 on Queens Road is reserved for players, support staff, officials, and VIPs. Dedicated pick-up and drop-off points for app-based cabs and autos have been set up at B.R.V.
