4,100 Dhol-Tasha Players Perform, 585 Flag-bearers Set World Record Nagpur: Over 4,100 dhol-tasha performers brought the grand finale of the Manthan4Yuva Youth Meet to a thunderous close on Sunday, drawing more than 25,000 spectators to Reshimbagh Ground. The event also saw 585 saffron flag-bearers set a new world record, recognized by both the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records. This surpassed the previous record of 260 participants and exceeded the organizers’ initial target of 300. The record-breaking display marked a significant milestone in the event’s history, highlighting the collective effort and cultural pride of the participants. The event featured an interactive session moderated by sports anchor Riddhima Pathak, where prominent figures shared insights on ambition, pressure, and personal journeys. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, cricketer Tilak Varma, and Commonwealth Games gold medallist para-athlete Dilip Mahadu Gavit participated in the discussion. Fadnavis reflected on his political journey, emphasizing the transformative power of the Constitution and democracy. He recounted how a boy who once sold tea at a railway station in Gujarat could rise to become the Prime Minister, underscoring the opportunities provided by the constitutional framework.
