Cupid Ltd Stock Surpasses Record High Amid Strong Q1 Performance Cupid Ltd shares reached a new record high of Rs 295 on August 13, rising 1.72 per cent following the company’s robust Q1FY27 results. The stock has delivered extraordinary returns over the past five years, with a cumulative gain of approximately 12,000 per cent. Over the last year alone, the stock surged 760 per cent, while its three-year return stands at 8,691 per cent. The company reported consolidated net profit of Rs 44.1 crore in the June quarter, nearly three times the Rs 15 crore recorded in the same period last year. Revenue from operations grew 159 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 154.7 crore, up from Rs 59.8 crore. Operating performance improved significantly, with EBITDA rising to Rs 60.1 crore from Rs 16.5 crore. The EBITDA margin expanded to 38.8 per cent from 27.5 per cent. On a standalone basis, net sales increased 158.7 per cent YoY to Rs 154.72 crore, while net profit jumped 194.07 per cent to Rs 44.16 crore from Rs 15.02 crore. Standalone EBITDA rose 191.04 per cent to Rs 62.34 crore from Rs 21.42 crore. Profit before tax climbed to Rs 59.93 crore from Rs 19.56 crore. However, interest expenses increased to Rs 1.11 crore from Rs 0.62 crore, and tax expenses rose to Rs 15.77 crore from Rs 4.54 crore. The strong Q1 performance was driven by higher revenue, improved profitability, and stronger margins. Cupid attributed its success to a minimum 10 per cent price increase across its export portfolio, which enhanced realisations and margins. A favourable USD/INR exchange rate environment also supported export earnings.
