The society’s former president, Nihal Ranjan, noted that residents spent the day manually removing water from their basements, with some property damage reported. The internal roads of the society also saw water levels reaching nearly a foot, forcing residents to navigate through flooded areas. Similarly, in Sector-37D, the Signature Millennia Society faced flooding in both its parking area and internal roads. Water levels reached up to a foot, leaving residents unable to access their vehicles. The society is located adjacent to the Badshahpur drain, which has been cited as a contributing factor to the flooding. Residents expressed frustration over the lack of proper drainage infrastructure, with one resident stating that the drainage system is inadequate to handle heavy rainfall. Sector-84’s Antariksh Heights Society reported that waterlogged roads caused a truck to get stuck, highlighting the severity of the situation.
