Sid to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026 Former WWE Champion “Sycho” Sid Eudy will be honored as a legacy inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026. Known for his intimidating presence and magnetic charisma, Sid left an indelible mark on the wrestling world during his career. A two-time WWE Champion, he was celebrated for his ability to command attention both in the ring and on television, becoming one of the most feared and respected figures of his era. Sid’s journey in professional wrestling began with a successful stint in World Championship Wrestling (WCW), where he gained recognition for his raw power and unpredictable style. His transition to WWE marked a pivotal moment in his career. Debuting as Sid Justice, he made his mark at SummerSlam 1991, serving as the Special Guest Referee for a historic match between WWE Champion Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior against The Triangle of Terror. That same night, Sid played a crucial role in saving Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth from an attack by Jake Roberts and The Undertaker during their wedding reception, showcasing his loyalty and courage. After a brief hiatus from WWE, Sid returned as “Sycho Sid,” aligning with Shawn Michaels and becoming a key figure in the company’s story. His partnership with Michaels culminated in a memorable moment at WrestleMania XI, where he stood by The Heartbreak Kid as he challenged Diesel for the WWE Title. This marked the start of a legendary rivalry with Diesel, culminating in Sid capturing the WWE Championship at Survivor Series in 1996. After losing the title back to Michaels, Sid reclaimed it by defeating Bret Hart on the Feb. 17, 1997 edition of Raw, solidifying his status as a two-time champion.#wwe_hall_of_fame #sycho_sid #world_championship_wrestling #shawn_michaels #wwe_championship
