Baba Mahakal Mandir Introduces Digital Expansion for Annadan Seva Online Booking The Baba Mahakal Mandir in Ujjain has launched a digital expansion of its Annadan Seva (food offering service), allowing devotees to book slots online for offering prasad to the deity. This initiative, effective from April 4, 2026, enables worshippers to reserve slots up to two years in advance, streamlining the process of donating food and participating in rituals. Previously, devotees had to visit the mandir in person to book slots for their offerings. The new online system allows them to make reservations from home, with details available on the mandir’s official website, www.shrimahakaleshwar.mp.gov.in. This change is expected to reduce the hassle of in-person visits and accommodate a larger number of devotees, especially during special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, and pujas. The mandir’s deputy superintendent, Simi Yadav, confirmed that the online booking facility will be operational from April 4, 2026. Devotees can select any date for their offerings, with the option to book slots for both daily and special events. The service also includes provisions for distributing sweet prasad, with specific donation amounts required for different types of offerings. Under the current system, devotees must pay a fixed amount for their offerings: 1.1 lakh rupees for two-time prasad distribution, 51,000 rupees for a single offering, and 21,000 rupees for sweet prasad. The mandir has emphasized that the digital expansion will enhance accessibility, allowing more people to participate in the rituals while ensuring organized management of the offerings. The transition to an online booking system reflects the mandir’s efforts to modernize its services and cater to the growing number of devotees.#baba_mahakal_mandir #ujjain #simi_yadav #annadan_seva #shrimahakaleshwar_mp_gov_in
