Pakistan Women's Team Announces Eight Squad Changes for Sri Lanka T20I Series Pakistan’s women’s cricket team has unveiled its ODI and T20I squads for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka, scheduled from July 23 to August 4. The tour will feature three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota, followed by three T20 Internationals (T20Is). The squad changes reflect the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) focus on integrating emerging talent into the national setup, with eight new players included in the T20I squad. The T20I squad, which will captain Muneeba Ali Siddiqui in the absence of Fatima Sana, includes several debutantes. Sana, the team’s leading run-scorer in the T20I format, will miss the T20I series due to her participation in the Hundred women’s cricket tournament. She has been selected by the Birmingham Phoenix in the wildcard draft, making her the first Pakistan women’s cricketer to join the competition. Sana will, however, feature in the ODI series preceding the T20Is, leading a 15-player squad that includes two uncapped players: Maham Anees and Saira Jabeen. The T20I squad includes the following players: Muneeba Ali Siddiqui (captain), Ayesha Zafar, Eman Naseer, Eyman Fatima, Humna Bilal, Maham Anees, Momina Riasat, Najiha Alvi, Nashra Sundhu, Saira Jabeen, Shawaal Zulfiqar, Tasmia Rubab, Tuba Hassan, Umm-e-Hani, and Waheeda Akhtar.
