The new maxi-scooter is available at a starting price of Rs 1.07 lakh ex-showroom, positioning it as a top-tier variant above the standard Burgman Street models. This iteration brings significant mechanical upgrades, advanced engine technology, and improved hardware to justify its higher price point. The scooter targets buyers seeking a comfortable, feature-rich commuter with a strong road presence. Powering the Burgman Street EX is a 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor complies with the latest emission norms and is compatible with E20 blended petrol. It produces a maximum power output of 8.7 PS at 6,750 rpm and delivers peak torque of 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) for smooth and efficient performance. A key innovation is the Eco Performance Alpha technology, which includes an Engine Auto Stop Start system to enhance fuel efficiency. Additionally, a Silent Starter System ensures quieter operation during startup. The ride setup has been upgraded to improve handling and comfort. The rear wheel has been replaced with a 12-inch diameter unit, paired with a 100/80 tyre for better grip and stability.
