Taag Adds Premium Economy Cabin on São Paulo-Luanda Route The Brazilian airline Taag has reintroduced the Premium Economy cabin class on its São Paulo (GRU)-Luanda (LAD) route, effective from March 1, 2026. The service is available on flights DT 747 and DT 748, operated using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. Passengers can book tickets through the airline’s usual sales channels, including its stores, call center, mobile app “flytaag,” website, and partner travel agencies. Additionally, Taag offers an interest-free payment plan of up to four installments for flights originating in Brazil, exclusively for purchases made via travel agencies. From Luanda, the capital of Angola, Taag provides connections to nine African cities: Cape Town and Johannesburg (South Africa), São Tomé (São Tomé and Príncipe), Windhoek (Namibia), Maputo (Mozambique), Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of the Congo), Brazzaville (Republic of the Congo), Lagos (Nigeria), and Nairobi (Kenya). The airline also serves 12 provinces within Angola and operates flights to Europe, specifically to Portugal. Currently, Taag operates four weekly flights between São Paulo and Luanda, departing from Guarulhos International Airport on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Passengers can opt for a stopover in Angola lasting up to five days, benefiting from the visa exemption for Brazilian citizens, who are allowed to stay in the country for up to 90 days. The Boeing 787-9 aircraft has a capacity of 313 passengers, divided into 16 seats in Business Class, 21 in Premium Economy, and 276 in Economy. The cabin layout features a 1-2-1 configuration in Business Class, 2-3-2 in Premium Economy, and 3-3-3 in Economy. This setup aims to balance comfort and space across all classes, enhancing the travel experience for passengers on long-haul routes.#so_paulo #taag #luanda #boeing_787_9 #premium_economy
