TAAG Introduces Premium Economy Class on São Paulo to Luanda Route Using Boeing 787 TAAG Linhas Aéreas de Angola has reintroduced the Premium Economy cabin on its flights between São Paulo and Luanda, effective March 1, 2026. The new service is available on routes DT-747 and DT-748, operated by the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. This class serves as an intermediate option between Economy and Business, providing enhanced comfort and differentiated services at a more affordable price than Business class. The Boeing 787-9 aircraft operated by TAAG has a total capacity of 313 seats, divided into 16 Business class seats (configured as 1-2-1), 21 Premium Economy seats (arranged in a 2-3-2 layout), and 276 Economy class seats (in a 3-3-3 configuration). This setup ensures greater space and comfort for passengers in the Premium Economy class. Fares for the Premium Economy class on the São Paulo–Luanda–São Paulo route start at USD 1,500 (approximately R$ 7,800) for bookings made at least 45 days in advance, and USD 1,750 (around R$ 9,200) for last-minute purchases within 45 days of departure. These prices are subject to additional taxes. From Luanda, TAAG offers connections to nine African destinations, including Cape Town, Johannesburg, São Tomé, Windhoek, Maputo, Kinshasa, Brazzaville, Lagos, and Nairobi. The airline also serves multiple Angolan provinces and operates flights to Portugal.
