The model also saw a 1% month-on-month growth from June’s 21,006 units, representing 34% of Tata’s total passenger vehicle dispatches. The Punch’s strong performance is attributed to its versatile powertrain options, including petrol, CNG, and electric variants, which cater to a broad customer base. The Tata Nexon maintained its position as the second-highest-selling model, with 17,471 units dispatched in July. This marked a 36% year-on-year increase from 12,825 units in July 2025, though it saw a 5% decline compared to June 2026’s 18,335 units. Despite the slight drop, the Nexon remains a key contributor to Tata’s sales, offering a wide range of powertrain options, including petrol, diesel, CNG, and electric variants. Tata’s entry-level hatchback, the Tiago, also performed well, with 7,429 units dispatched in July.
