Hanuman Janmotsav: 80 Tableaux from Rajabhaksha Temple to Be Big Attraction Nagpur is set to host a grand celebration of Hanuman Janmotsav on Thursday, featuring elaborate processions, mass religious recitations, and large-scale mahaprasad offerings. Authorities have implemented traffic diversions and heightened security measures to manage the expected crowds across the city. The highlight of the event is a grand procession originating from the Rajabhaksha Hanuman temple, which will showcase over 80 intricately designed tableaux moving through key routes. These displays will be accompanied by devotional music and thematic performances, with welcome points set up along the procession path to enhance the experience. Another major procession will depart from the Gittikhadan location, incorporating laser shows and community receptions at strategic points. At the Tekdi Hanuman Temple in Gawlipura, a massive mahaprasad is planned to serve over 3.5 lakh devotees. The preparation involves ingredients sourced from various states, with over 1,000 volunteers and women’s groups from Amravati district playing a crucial role in organizing the distribution. This 35-year-old community-driven initiative will also extend its efforts to provide food to hostels, institutions, and hospitals, underscoring the collective spirit of the event. Beyond Nagpur, the Hanuman Lok at Jam Sawli in Madhya Pradesh is gaining significant attention. Since its inauguration by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, the site has attracted increasing numbers of visitors.
