The tri-series will take place in Sri Lanka, with India A facing Sri Lanka A in the opening match on June 9. The final is scheduled for June 21. Following the one-day matches, India A will also play two red-ball games against Sri Lanka A, though the squad for these matches will be announced later. The India A squad is led by Tilak Varma, who will captain the team. Riyan Parag serves as his deputy. Varma, Parag, and fast bowler Anshul Kamboj are the only players in the squad with experience at the senior India level. The team includes a mix of established talents and emerging players, with Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya forming the opening pair. Singh, a wicketkeeper-batter, will partner Kumar Kushagra, another wicketkeeper-batter from Jharkhand, in the middle order. All-rounders Nishant Sindhu, Harsh Dubey, and Suryansh Shedge are also part of the squad. Yudhvir Singh, a pacer from Jammu & Kashmir, has been included for his performances in the 2025-26 Ranji Trophy, where he took 21 wickets at an average of 30.66.
