The recruitment drive spans multiple departments, with the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) and other agencies playing key roles. The State Public Service Commission (UPPSC) will fill approximately 32,000 posts, while the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will handle around 15,000 appointments. The Police Recruitment Board has already conducted exams for 45,000 posts, including Sub-Inspector (SI) and Home Guard roles. Additionally, 45,000 other positions across various departments are under active recruitment. Yogi highlighted the government’s commitment to eliminating corruption in the recruitment process, stating that strict laws have been enacted to punish any form of malpractice. He warned that individuals found guilty of fraud or cheating will face life imprisonment and confiscation of their assets. The chief minister criticized previous governments for allowing widespread corruption in recruitment, where families of officials often influenced outcomes, and the blame was frequently placed on chairmen of recruitment boards.
