Rohit Shetty house firing: UP STF and Mumbai Police arrest 9th accused in Agra - Report A significant development in the investigation into the 2026 shooting incident at filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence in Mumbai occurred as authorities apprehended Pradeep Kumar, also known as Gaath, in Agra. The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) and Mumbai Police Crime Branch conducted the joint operation, which led to the arrest of Kumar, a key member of the Shubham Lonkar gang implicated in the attack. The operation took place on Thursday afternoon in the Chhadami Mattha area on the Agra-Etah road, with Rakesh, Additional Superintendent of Police, STF Field Unit, Agra, overseeing the operation. Kumar, a resident of Ashok Nagar in Agra, was arrested at 3:56 pm under the jurisdiction of Bah police station. This arrest marks the ninth individual linked to the case. Previously, eight others, including Pradeep Sharma alias Golu, Deepak, and Vishnu Kushwaha, had been apprehended in joint operations between Mumbai Police and other agencies. Following the arrest, Kumar was handed over to the Mumbai Police team at Bah Police Station, where he is expected to be taken on transit remand as legal proceedings progress.
