Delhi Blast Near Red Fort: 8 Dead, 24 Injured – Stay Alert, Stay Aware This evening, a devastating explosion near the #RedFort Metro Station in Delhi has shaken the city. According to official reports, a slow-moving car stopped at a traffic signal around 6:52 pm then exploded, triggering a fire that engulfed multiple nearby vehicles. At least eight people have died before reaching hospital and 24 more have been injured. The blaze destroyed six cars, two e-rickshaws and one autorickshaw, say fire-department officials. Eyewitnesses described the shock of the moment: “I never heard such a loud explosion ever in my life… I fell three times due to the explosion.” A local shopkeeper said he saw human remains on the road. The area has been sealed. Teams from the National Investigation Agency (NIA), the National Security Guard #NSG and the forensic laboratory are investigating.
