WA hand imposing fast bowler shield debut Western Australia's latest pace prospect, Albert Esterhuysen, is set to make his Sheffield Shield debut in the state's clash with Queensland at the WACA Ground. The 22-year-old right-armer has been tearing it up in the WA Premier Cricket competition and has earned a call-up to the Warriors squad ahead of the match. Esterhuysen's impressive form this summer has seen him grab 34 wickets at an average of just 14.5, with a best return of 7-25 against Fremantle. His rapid rise through the ranks has not gone unnoticed, and he is tipped to be a major threat for Queensland's batsmen when he takes the field on Thursday.
