Nearly 1,880 conductors will now receive a monthly house rent allowance (HRA) of approximately Rs952 under the Maharashtra Labour Minimum House Rent Allowance Act, 1983. These changes are expected to add an annual financial burden of Rs2.25 crore to the civic body.
