Sole Breadwinner Lost, Chute Family Shattered After 20-Year-Old Stabbed to Death in Dharampeth The small, quiet home of the Chute family in Hudkeshwar, Nagpur, now echoes with the weight of grief. Tushar Chute, a 20-year-old engineering student, was found lifeless after being stabbed by two minors in Dharampeth late Monday night. For his family, the loss of Tushar—a sole breadwinner, emotional anchor, and the sole earning member—has left an indelible mark. His mother, still in a state of shock, has not slept since learning of his murder, repeatedly asking, “What was my son’s fault?” The tragedy has left the family grappling with an unbearable void, their home filled with unfinished dreams and abandoned textbooks. Tushar’s death unfolded in a moment of casual camaraderie. Friends and neighbors recall him as a sincere, hardworking student who balanced his academic pursuits with part-time jobs to support his family. Despite his aspirations to complete his engineering degree and secure a stable future, his life was cut short during a late-night outing with friends. “He was just out with friends, laughing and enjoying like any normal youngster. Within minutes, everything was over,” one friend said, struggling to process the brutality of the incident. The family’s grief is compounded by the suddenness of the tragedy. Tushar’s father, emotionally drained after performing the funeral rites, remained silent as relatives managed visitors and formalities. The family immersed his ashes in the Beena River on Tuesday evening, marking the end of a life that had yet to fully unfold. Relatives described Tushar as a quiet, responsible young man who quietly carried the burdens of his household. His mother, too devastated to speak, broke down repeatedly, her sorrow echoing through the modest home.#hudkeshwar #dharampeth #tushar_chute #chute_family #beena_river

Youth Suffers Stroke in Gym, Recovers in 12 Days A 23-year-old pharmacy student from Hudkeshwar, Nagpur, collapsed during a gym workout on April 8 after suffering a severe brain stroke, leaving him in a critical coma with minimal chances of survival. However, the young man, Om Bhoyar, made an astonishing recovery, being discharged from the hospital just 12 days later. His case has stunned medical professionals due to the speed of his recovery and the absence of pre-existing health conditions. Bhoyar, a BPharm student and avid fitness enthusiast, experienced symptoms such as headaches and vomiting two days prior to the incident, which he and others dismissed as minor. Upon collapsing at the gym, he was rushed to a private hospital in Dhantoli. Initial assessments revealed a severe stroke, with doctors warning of a grim prognosis. An MRI confirmed an acute ischaemic stroke caused by a blood clot blocking cerebral blood flow. Emergency treatment involved an endovascular mechanical thrombectomy, a minimally invasive procedure where a clot was removed through a small groin puncture using specialized devices. Dr. Sachin Dhomne, an interventional radiologist involved in the operation, emphasized that timely intervention was crucial in reversing stroke damage. "The procedure restored blood flow to the brain, which is critical for recovery," he stated. Following the clot removal, Bhoyar showed rapid improvement. He was gradually taken off ventilator support, regained neurological function, and began walking independently within days. Dr. Aziz Khan, a senior cardiologist on the treatment team, noted that Bhoyar had no history of substance abuse, diabetes, or hypertension—factors typically associated with stroke risk.#nagpur #hudkeshwar #om_bhoyar #dr_sachin_dhomne #dr_aziz_khan

18 Adults Arrested for Exploiting Minors in Criminal Activities Eighteen adults have been arrested for allegedly exploiting and coercing 14 minors into committing various crimes. The arrests were made across six police stations in south and east Nagpur, where eleven cases were registered this year. The offenses allegedly involving minors include vehicle theft, injury, sexual harassment of children, rioting, burglary, and other crimes, according to details provided by the office of DCP (Zone 4) Rashmitha Rao. Police stations such as Nandanvan and Hudkeshwar reported three cases each, while Beltarodi, Ajni, Sakkardara, and Imamwada reported one or two cases respectively. The arrests have prompted the invocation of stringent provisions under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNS) section 95, which targets adults who employ children under 18 to commit offenses. This provision mandates a minimum imprisonment of three years, with a potential extension of up to 10 years, along with fines. The law also stipulates that if the underlying crime is committed, the adult faces the same punishment as if they had committed it themselves. Officials emphasized that this provision serves as a strong deterrent against exploiting minors for criminal activities. Senior police officials highlighted that the move aims to disrupt a cycle where adult criminals use vulnerable minors to evade stricter legal scrutiny. Juveniles often receive lenient handling under the Juvenile Justice Act, making them easy targets for exploitation. The new BNS provisions, however, impose severe penalties on adults who orchestrate such crimes, including sexual harassment, theft, and riots. In addition to punitive measures, preventive actions are being taken against the parents or guardians of the minors involved.#nagpur #dc_p_c_zone_4_rashmitha_rao #bharatiya_nagarik_suraksha_sanhita #nandanvan #hudkeshwar
