CBSE Class 10 Second Board Results 2026 Expected Soon The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to release the results for the second board exams of Class 10 students in 2026, marking the first implementation of the board’s two-phase examination system under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The results are anticipated to be announced in mid-to-late June, though the exact date has not been officially confirmed. This system aims to reduce academic stress by allowing students to retake up to three subjects within the same academic year to improve their scores. Approximately 6.7 to 6.8 lakh students participated in the improvement or compartment exams, which were conducted from May 15 to 21, 2026. The new policy enables students to reattempt subjects to enhance their grades without waiting for the next academic cycle, particularly benefiting those in the "compartment" category who previously had to wait an entire year for a reattempt. Science and Mathematics emerged as the most retaken subjects, followed by Social Science, while fewer students opted for subjects like AI, Tourism, Music, or Painting. Around 85,000 students were in the compartment category, while over 5.25 lakh aimed to improve their marks through the second exam. The results will be made available through multiple platforms, including the official CBSE websites (cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in), DigiLocker, UMANG, and via SMS and IVRS. Students are advised to keep their roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth handy for quick access to their results. Provisional scorecards will be downloadable online immediately after the results are released, while original certificates will be issued later by their respective schools.#central_board_of_secondary_education #cbse #national_education_policy #nepr2020 #compartment_category
