Tata Motors Unveils Four New Electric Vehicles for 2026 Launch Tata Motors, the leading electric vehicle manufacturer in India with over 36 percent market share, is set to expand its EV lineup with four new models launching this year. The company aims to solidify its position in the competitive EV market by introducing vehicles that cater to diverse consumer needs, from compact hatchbacks to luxury SUVs. The upcoming models include the Sierra.ev, Safari.ev, Tiago.ev facelift, and the premium Avinya X. The Sierra.ev, an electric version of the popular Sierra mid-size SUV, is scheduled to launch on May 22. The vehicle retains the design language of its internal combustion engine (ICE) predecessor but incorporates EV-specific features. A closed front grille, connected LED light bar, and vertically stacked fog lamps replace the traditional front bumper. The rear features connected LED tail lamps and a roof-mounted spoiler. Inside, the Sierra.ev will offer a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and higher variants with a triple-screen setup. Advanced features like a 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, and electric parking brake are expected. The Sierra.ev will be powered by 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery packs, with rear-wheel-drive and quad-wheel-drive (QWD) configurations. It is expected to price between Rs 20 to 25 lakh. The Safari.ev, Tata’s first electric 7-seater SUV, will follow a similar design approach to the ICE model but with EV-specific enhancements. The vehicle will feature a closed-off grille, redesigned bumpers, and aero-efficient alloy wheels. The interior is anticipated to retain the standard layout but with premium color schemes and higher-quality trims.#tata_motors #sierra_ev #tiago_ev #safari_ev #avinya_x
