Additionally, the defense, nuclear, and aerospace corridor planned for Saoner will be incorporated into this industrial belt. Investments in the region have already reached nearly 1 lakh crore rupees, with 70% of these commitments allocated to Gadchiroli and the remaining in Nagpur. The project aims to provide connectivity to all districts in East Vidarbha, including Nagpur, Wardha, Bhandara, Chandrapur, Gondia, and Gadchiroli. While the land may not be contiguous, the plan involves acquiring pockets in each district to ensure road, rail, and other infrastructure facilities are established throughout the area.
