Dhurandhar Row: Bombay High Court restrains plagiarism accuser; relief for director Aditya Dhar In a recent development surrounding Dhurandhar The Revenge, the Bombay High Court has granted interim relief to director Aditya Dhar by restricting filmmaker Santosh Kumar from making further public statements about the film that could harm his reputation. The order was passed on Wednesday by Justice Arif Doctor after hearing submissions made on behalf of Dhar. The court noted that, at this stage, Dhar had presented sufficient grounds to seek protection, and directed Kumar to refrain from repeating or issuing any statements against the filmmaker or his film until the matter is heard again. The case has now been scheduled for further hearing on April 16. The dispute began shortly after the release of Dhurandhar The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh. Santosh Kumar had held a press conference alleging that the film’s story was copied from his own script, which he claimed to have registered with the Screenwriters Association in 2023. According to him, the script, titled D Saheb, had earlier been pitched to multiple production houses before Dhar allegedly used it for his film. Responding to these claims, Dhar approached the court, stating that the allegations were baseless and had caused damage to his professional reputation. His legal team argued that the statements made during the press conference were widely circulated online through multiple videos and social media posts, amplify... #High_Court #Aditya_Dhar #Aditya #High #Bombay_High #Dhar #Bombay #director_Aditya #Dhurandhar_Row #interim_relief

Unrevealed facts on Dhurandhar: Aditya Dhar REVEALS entire budget and how both films combined became an 8-hour saga: "A scene that was meant to be for 10 seconds actually required 2 minutes" The amount Aditya Dhar was spending per day on shooting Uri, he was spending almost 11 to 12 lakhs lesser than that every day on shooting Dhurandhar. As Aditya told me, it was insanity the way they have pulled off this film. What is the cost of shooting the actual end product? How much did it cost? Aditya told me it's about Rs. 255 crores. Yes, both the films together cost a paltry Rs 255 crores to shoot. Originally, it was meant to be one film only. But an 8-hour film seemed out of the question. Hence, Dhurandhar was split into two. The length increased as the film was being shot. Because Aditya realized that the small montages were turning into big, big scenes. And those big scenes were turning out to be highlights, one after the other. So, what to cut? Aditya explained to me, “A scene that was meant to be for say 10 seconds, it actually required two minutes. ”To take an example, there was the scene in which Major Iqbal is introduced. Arjun Rampal's character is introduced where he says that I want to buy guns. That was supposed to be two-and-a-half-minute scene. It eventually became eight-nine minutes long. While Aditya had a water-tight script, the dialogues were enhanced on the sets. A lot of the banter which you hear in the film are actually what Aditya Dhar thought on ... #Aditya_Dhar #Aditya #Uri #REVEALS_entire #shooting_Uri #Dhar_REVEALS #Unrevealed_facts #lakhs_lesser #entire_budget #REVEALS

Dhurandhar 2 shoot lands Aditya Dhar’s banner in trouble, BMC seeks permanent blacklisting: Report The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has initiated strict action against filmmaker Aditya Dhar’s production banner, B62 Studios, over alleged violations during the Mumbai shoot of Dhurandhar: The Revenge. According to a report by The Indian Express, the civic body has recommended permanent blacklisting of the production house from seeking future filming permissions, citing repeated breaches of conditions. According to officials from the BMC’s A ward office, a letter has been sent to the Deputy Municipal Commissioner (Zone 1) proposing that B62 Studios be barred from applying for shooting permissions through the state-run portal managed by the Maharashtra Film, Stage and Cultural Development Corporation Limited. Alleged Violations During February Shoot The controversy stems from a shoot conducted between February 7 and 8 in South Mumbai, specifically between Modi Street and Perin Nariman Street in A ward. Permission for the schedule had been granted on January 30 through the state film corporation. However, authorities allege that the production team violated police conditions that explicitly prohibited the use of crackers and flammable materials on set. Following these alleged breaches, a subsequent application was submitted by Komal Pokhriyal seeking permission to shoot on February 13 and 14. SCOOP: Budget math stalls Krrish 4 - Hrithik’s Rs. 500 cr. vision vs Aditya Chopra’s Rs. 350 cr. cap! Hrithik Roshan as Krrish is one of the most celebrated characters of Indian Cinema, and the last decade has seen a pent-up demand from the audience to see the return of this franchise for the fourth time. Hrithik was receptive to the audience and announced Krrish 4 in association with Yash Raj Films. This time around, the actor is donning a dual hat - of an actor and a director too, as Krrish 4 is to mark his debut as a director. But it seems that the fans will have to wait a little longer for Krrish 4. Reliable sources have confirmed that Krrish 4 has gone on back-burner as Hrithik Roshan and Aditya Chopra are not aligning on the budget of this superhero epic. "Hrithik Roshan wants to make the film at a huge budget close to Rs. 500 crores, and Aditya Chopra believes that it's essential to have an upper cap to the film around the Rs. 350 crore mark. After multiple rounds of discussions, the duo have at the moment put Krrish 4 on the back burner," a source told Bollywood Hungama. Hrithik is meanwhile exploring the possibilities of collaborating with another studio on Krrish 4, and also reworking the script, keeping budget restrictions in mind. "Hrithik is also a practical guy and has taken Aditya Chopra's feedback positively. He is relooking at certain feedback given by Adi, and at the same time in talks with other studios to fund the film.
