The initiative, launched by Bharat Cabs Online, aims to alleviate the challenges of navigating crowded areas, heavy luggage, and unreliable cab availability. The service, which is set to operate fully from June 15, has already seen positive feedback during a three-day dry run, with passengers praising its convenience and transparency. The prepaid model eliminates the need for app downloads, as passengers can book cabs by scanning QR codes at dedicated counters within the station. This feature is particularly beneficial for elderly individuals, women, families with children, and people with mobility challenges, who previously faced difficulties in securing reliable transportation. "The fares are fixed according to approved rates, and the booking process is simple and convenient," said Alankar, a passenger who used the service on Sunday. Himanshu Gujjar, another user, added, "Now, we don’t have to go outside the station to find a cab. It has made travel from the railway station much easier." The service’s success during the dry run has encouraged Bharat Cabs Online to expand its operations. Currently, 50 drivers are already on board, with more expected to join in the coming weeks.
