357 Govt Offices Haven’t Paid NMC Rs145cr in Property Tax The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) is facing significant challenges in recovering property tax dues from central and state government departments, which collectively owe over Rs145 crore. Despite efforts to enforce strict penalties and attachment actions against ordinary taxpayers, several government offices have defaulted on payments for years, exacerbating the civic body’s financial strain.
