Before engaging in the activity, he offered prayers and participated in the chanting of mantras. He then joined devotees in crafting three Shivlings himself, emphasizing the communal and spiritual significance of the event. Speaking afterward, Fadnavis highlighted the involvement of people across all age groups, which he said enriched the atmosphere during the holy month of Shravan. The organizers noted that the soil used for the Shivlings is sourced from the Ganga, symbolizing a connection to the sacred river. The event is set to conclude on September 12 with a yajna (fire ritual) followed by a Mahaprasad (communal feast).
