Sanjay Dutt starrer Aakhri Sawal gets new release date — film preponed to May 8 The makers of Aakhri Sawal, starring Sanjay Dutt, have officially announced a revised release date for the film. Originally scheduled to arrive in cinemas on May 16, 2026, the film has now been preponed and will hit theatres on May 8, 2026, bringing its release forward by over a week. The decision to advance the release comes amid growing buzz around the project, particularly following the unveiling of its teaser. Released on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, the teaser offered a glimpse into the film’s narrative, which delves into the history of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), founded in 1925. While brief, the teaser has already generated considerable discussion for its subject matter and tone. Positioned as an intense and thought-provoking drama, Aakhri Sawal aims to explore lesser-known aspects of the organisation’s journey while raising broader questions that are expected to unfold over the course of the film. The early promotional material has been described as direct and provocative, setting the stage for a narrative that could spark conversations upon release. The film is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Abhijeet Mohan Warang, who previously earned a Special Mention at the 67th National Film Awards for his Marathi-language film Picasso. Warang has built a body of work spanning Marathi and Hindi cinema, with projects such as Deja Vu, Prem Pratha Dhumshan, Piccolo, and ... #release_date #officially_announced #film #Sanjay #Sanjay_Dutt #Dutt #Dutt_starrer #starring_Sanjay #Aakhri_Sawal #starrer_Aakhri
EXCLUSIVE: Not just the mirror mistake, Dhurandhar The Revenge's new print also censors some abuses; Sanjay Dutt's abusive dialogue and few other abuses muted A few days ago, Bollywood Hungama exclusively informed readers that a revised print of Dhurandhar The Revenge has been sent to cinemas since last weekend. The earlier print of the Ranveer Singh-Sanjay Dutt-R Madhavan-Arjun Rampal starrer had a minor blunder – the cameraman’s reflection was visible in the mirror in a crucial scene in the second half featuring Hamza aka Jaskirat Singh Rangi (Ranveer Singh) amd Gurbaaz Singh aka Pinda (Udaybir Sandhu). This blunder was rectified in the revised print. Bollywood Hungama has now learned that the makers have made one more change as well. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “In the earlier version, some abuses were muted but many of them were left untouched. In the new print, more cuss words have been censored. The dialogue where (Sanjay Dutt) says ‘L***d c******a kya’ in the Operation Lyari sequence has been muted, though the gesture made by the actor while mouthing the dialogue remains. The abuse, ‘B******a’, said by Rakesh Bedi while getting his pedicure done, and by a character in the ‘Aari Aari’ song sequence was also silenced. A few more abuses have been similarly muted in other parts of the film. Words like ‘B****a’ and ‘G***u’ were kept untouched. ”Before the release of Dhurandhar The Revenge, Bollywood Hungama had exclusively reported that among the 21 modificatio... #Bollywood_Hungama #Ranveer_Singh #Sanjay_Dutt #Singh_Rangi #Jaskirat_Singh #days_ago #Gurbaaz_Singh #revised_print #informed_readers #Udaybir_Sandhu
