"We are trying to keep prices as low as possible for consumers, but the cost pressure is very high," Verma said. He explained that a significant portion of industrial and commercial gas comes from war-affected regions, making it difficult to predict price changes. However, upstream suppliers have invoked a "force majeure" clause to avoid penalties for unforeseen circumstances, ensuring uninterrupted gas supply.
